I am very pleased to write a reference letter for Buryl. I have travelled a lot over the past several years and Buryl has house sat for me continuously for the past 3 years of that time. She was an amazing find for me. She has helped me out while I have been on business trips, personal vacations and dealing with family emergencies. She was at my home at least 1 week per month and often more.

Typically Buryl would confirm everything in advance and come to my home after I had left. She would stay every night, looking after the house and my cat. She would update me by email when I was away and leave my house spotless when she left, just prior to my return.

Over the years Buryl ended up dealing with some extraordinary situations, like the snow during Xmas in 2008 and my house being broken into in 2007. She handled situations calmly and competently and even helped out neighbours when they required assistance. When I was broken into she dealt with the police and managed all of the complications.

Buryl is organized and efficient and a pleasure to have in your home. She is always pleasant and goes out of her way to make your time away completely stress free. I would be pleased to speak to anyone in person that is considering working with Buryl.

We engaged Buryl to house sit during spring break in March, 2006. Buryl also agreed to look after our cat and our large dog.

We were thrilled with the entire experience. Buryl met with us several times before we left so we could show her all the quirks about our house and she could get to know the animals. She also took a bike ride with us to get to know the trails for dog walking. During our vacation, Buryl made herself available to answer our check-in calls and gave us full reports as to how things were going. On our return our house was spotlessly clean. The animals were in fine shape, had not gained or lost weight, and were very settled. Our plants were watered.

Buryl housesat for me from January 26, 2006 to February 9, 2006. In addition to caring for my home, she cared for my Jack Russell terrier Casey, taking him for daily walks and putting up with his attention seeking behaviour! In addition, I had occasion to request that she send me, via special delivery, my passport which I had inadvertently left at home. She handled this request speedily and with exceptional aplomb for which I was extremely grateful. I highly recommend Buryl for her professional manner and her friendly, efficient ways and wish her well in this new endeavour.
